I’ve travelled a lot and seen a lot of the world. I’ve been to more than 50 countries already! I’ve also been to many beautiful beaches all over the world. After the best vegetarian dishes in the world, I’m sharing my choice of the most beautiful beaches in the world in this blog post.
The Bahama’s always sounded like a very exotic and far-away destination to me. But when I lived in New York I went on a trip to Florida and from there you can go on an inexpensive cruise to the Bahama’s. I recommend it if you’re ever in that area, because the beaches are beautiful, the food is great and the living is easy!
Another island that I visited while I was in the states: Puerto Rico. This beautiful caribbean island is just a short flight away from the east coast of the United States. Besides laying on the beautiful beach, you can also go diving, visit the Bacardi distillery or eat some pasteles.
San Blas Islands
Just a little further south of Puerto Rico you’ll find the San Blas Islands. These Islands at the north coast of Panama are truly magnificent! We spent a couple of days here and we really went back to basic! No phone coverage, no electricity, not even a chair to sit on! Just the beach, or little hut, a good book, rum and coke and the waves!
When I was travelling in New Zealand I was reading a travel magazine that said that Fiji was only a 3 hour flight from Auckland. And even though it wasn’t planned, I booked a return ticket for later that week to Fiji. I reasoned that this was probably the only time in my life that I would be this close to Fiji. The main island of Fiji isn’t very impressive, so I advise you to take a boat tour to one of the smaller islands, like South Sea Island where this picture was taken.
This is probably the most excotic and special location I’ve ever been to! The Seychelles is a group of islands of the east coast of Africa. It’s one of those once-in-a-lifetime or honeymoon destinations. And rightfully so! The beaches are picture perfect, the people are super friendly and scuba diving feels like you’re in an aquarium with many special species and great visibility.
