Dream Cabanas: top accommodation on Caye Caulker, Belize

We just came back from a wonderful trip to Caye Caulker, a beautiful island of the coast of Belize. It’s a great destination to go snorkeling, diving, watch sunsets or just relax on the beach. But accommodation can be a bit tricky on Caye Caulker as there are many old buildings. You often won’t find the standard that you expect from Europe or the United States. Luckily there’s an exception, an affordable exception even: Dream Cabanas.
Dream Cabanas has just opened and I was their first guest to spend a night at one of their 6 cabanas.

Davide and Claudia, an Italian couple, are the owners of Dream Cabanas. After a vacation in this area, they decide to follow their dream. They bought a piece of land and build the cabanas. Each apartment has their own bedroom, bathroom and small refrigerator. There’s also good wifi available in all the cabanas.

Dream Cabanas is located on the edge of the town. This way you’ll have a quiet night, but you’re also very close to all restaurants, bars and snorkeling tours.
