Eatonomy: gluten free and vegetarian lunchroom in Tilburg

Last year I moved from Amsterdam to Tilburg. One of the things I missed most about Amsterdam where the plenty of vegetarian (and vegan) lunchrooms and restaurants. As you probably can imagine I was very happy when a new vegetarian lunchroom opened up in Tilburg last month!
Eatonomy opened its doors April 2017 and I’m a big fan! They’re located on the second floor of WAAR (a sustainable gift shop) in the city center (Juliana van Stolbergstraat)

Everything at Eatonomy is gluten free, sugar free and vegetarian and they also have many vegan options.

They’ve got several vegan Buddha Bowls. The menu changes regularly, but the one pictured above is with millet, green peas, red bell pepper, leek, fermented pickles and avocado.

What I recommend is going for the Combi Lunch because you get good value for money! You get a small soup of the day, like the roasted cauliflower soup pictured and you get to choose your own Buddha Bowl.
And that’s not all! After your buddha bowl you can choose one of the many cakes on display to finish off your lunch. We had a slice of lemon cake and a slice of salted caramel chocolate cake (both vegan and gluten free).
