EMMA is a restaurant, bar and patisserie in the city center of Eindhoven. It’s open since October 2017 and is located on the Nieuwe Emmasingel (hence the name EMMA).
It’s a really unique place because of the concept to have a restaurant, bar and patisserie all in one place.
EMMA is housed in a spacious premises with walls covered with street-art style paintings from Iwan Smit and their own indoor greenhouse.
You’ll find the patisserie to your right. Here you can pick up your cake order or have a look at all the beautiful and delicious pastries they have to offer. You can sit down at a table in the restaurant to enjoy your pastry with a cup of coffee or tea. The pastries are made by Pinkie Patisserie.
The bar of EMMA is on your right, next to their indoor greenhouse where they grow their own herbs and sprouts. At the back of the space is the open kitchen and in the right corner you’ll find the bakery. You can walk around and have a look at the chefs and bakers to see how everything is made.
The restaurant is open for dinner and lunch and the menu changes regularly. It actually changes so often that on every Tuesday EMMA organizes Testing Tuesdays where you can try out new things on the menu and you can give feedback to the chefs. You’ll get a 5 euro discount and you’ll be the first to try out all the new dishes.
On the lunch menu you’ll find several savory bites to share like hummus with herbs and mushroom crisps. Or you can go for a lunch dish like pumpkin soup with goat cheese, burrata with grilled romaine lettuce or shiitake dumplings.
