This vegan olive bread is a perfect recipe for when you’re having friends over! It tastes great with all kinds of spreads (check my healthy party food page for some healthy, vegan sauces). The olives and herbs add a lot of flavor to the breads that are the shape and size of a pita bread. They’re super easy to make and because you grill them, they’re nice and crispy on the outside.
400 grams whole wheat flour (3,5 cups)
300 grams soy yogurt
1 tbs dried rozemary
4 tbs black olives (pitted)
1 ts sea salt
Mix the flour with the yogurt and knead until it has formed a dough. Mix in the rosemary, olives and sea salt. Divide the dough in 6 to 8 pieces and form round flat breads from it.
Warm a contact grill and grill the olive breads for about 5 minutes until they’re golden brown and crispy.
