Are you going on a date in Barcelona? On this page I’m sharing the most romantic spots in Barcelona. There are many great things that you can do in this beautiful city in Spain. On this page I’m sharing a few of my ideas that I would love to do on a date. From romantic activities to candle-lit restaurants.

Rowing Boats

Imagine yourself in a romantic movie, by taking your date on a boat trip in one of Barcelona’s prettiest parks. Parc de la Ciutadella is a beautiful park that also houses the Barcelona Zoo. In the middle of the park you can find a lake with row boats. Take your loved one on a romantic date in a boat on the lake.

Telefèric del Port

A ride at the Telefèric del Port cable car with beautiful views over Barcelona is such a romantic thing to do! It departs from Mountjuic and goes to the Southern tip of Barceloneta beach. Be aware that there are two different cable cars departing from Mount Juic in the south. The Telefèric del Port gondels (or Teleferico del Puerte) departs from Miramar. You also have the Mountjuic cablecar but that one stays above the hill.

Tibidabo Amusement Park

Going up to the Tibidabo observation desk is such a great thing to do on a date in Barcelona. You can take the funicular up and visit the platform for free. From there you’ve got great views over Barcelona. And if you’re into something fun, you can buy the pass for the attractions on the platform.

Mirablau

After your visit to Tibidabo amusement park, you can go for drinks and bites at Mirablau. You can find this restaurant at the foot of the Tibidabo funicular. The restaurant has two levels with beautiful views over the city. So you can enjoy a romantic tapas meal with a view at Mirablau.

Belbo dos Besos

Belbo dos Besos is one of the most romantic restaurants in Barcelona. The ‘two kisses’ theme comes back everywhere in the restaurant. From red sofa’s to neon lights. On the menu you’ll find good Italian food like burrata as a starter and delicious pastas as mains. Make sure to leave some room for dessert, or romantically share one, because they’re all pretty and delicious.

La Cava Cakery

Want to make your girl happy? I’m sure she’d love to go to La Cava Cakery. Here you can order all kinds of cupcakes with a glass of Cava! You can choose between pink and gold Cava and a large variety of cupcakes. From chocolate and Red Velvet to Oreo or Kinder. The interior is also nice with red neon signs, silk flowers and mirror balls.

Jardinet d’Aribau

Another romantic restaurant that’s perfect for date night is Jardinet d’Aribau. At this restaurant you’ll feel like you’re eating outside in a courtyard, but it’s actually inside. There are many silk plants, trees and flowers to give you that garden feel. Each table also has some privacy, so you’re not right next to another couple, which is nice on a (first) date.

Dinner with Stars

From June until the first weekend of October you can have a very unique and romantic experience in Barcelona. You can have Dinner with the Stars, literally! Farga observation desk hosts these unique dining experience. You start with a four course dinner on the terrace of the observatory. During dinner you’ll see the sun set over Barcelona and from beginning to end you can enjoy the incredible view over the city. Afterwards you’ll visit the museum and the telescope of the observatory.
