Restaurant Bridges in Hotel the Grand has reopened

Restaurant Bridges in Hotel Sofitel Legend the Grand in the city center of Amsterdam has reopened its doors. They have been closed for renovation for 7 weeks but are open again with a new formula. From now on you can either go to Bridges Dining for lunch and dinner or to Bridges BarBistro for all-day drinks, snacks and meals.

In the middle, right in between the two areas you’ll find a big marble bar where you can reserve your table or enjoy a drink. Bridges Dining is a light and open restaurant with big windows. Executive Chef Andres Delpeut serves delicious dishes especially if you love fish. Luckily for me there are also great vegetarian options on the menu like a starter with hummus, mini vegetables, cucumber pearls, quinoa cracker, cresses and dukkah herbs.

The interior of the new Bridges is designed by Jim Hamilton. For the BarBistro part, that is very Instagram worthy, he was inspired by the patio of the Grand Hotel. You’ll see the colors and the green from the garden back in the interior of the Bridges BarBistro.

With this newly designed Bridges Amsterdam gained another beautiful hotel spot that you want to go to even though you might not spend the night at the hotel.
