Stan&Co has opened up in Zeist

After Utrecht and Arnhem a third Stan & Co restaurant has opened up in Zeist. I was already a big fan of Stan&Co after I visited them in Arnhem so I was happy to hear that they’ve opened up another restaurant.

Stan&Co in Zeist has a big outdoor terrace to enjoy on sunny days and inside it’s also very spacious.

First thing you notice when you walk inside is the beautiful interior design. The restaurants has two areas so to speak. A pink/gold area in the beginning with a big bar and flower sofa’s. And a green area in the back where you can find the kitchen and the neon sign.

The deep green and soft pink make a great combination. Everywhere you look you’ll find interesting objects, daring color combinations and beautiful design.

The menu of Stan&Co Zeist is the same as the menu in Arnhem. They have lunch dishes, bites to share and mains that you can order in the evening as well as during the day. They prepare many ingredients in their Josper, giving it a crispy barbecue flavor. The bites to share can also be ordered as a starter. Here you see their cauliflower wings served with chipotle mayonaise.

There are many vegetarian dishes on the menu at Stan&Co. These vegetarian croquettes with piccalilly mayonaise for example but also beet root carpaccio, flatbread, pretzels and nachos. All these dishes are bites to share (or starters if you order the bigger portion). They also have two main dishes that are vegetarian; their aubergine (eggplant) ravioli with spinach and black olives and their crunchy polenta with couscous and green asparagus.

Stan&Co is also a great restaurant to visit for lunch. You can order the bites and starters during the day as well, but they also have a lunch menu with a great amount of sandwiches. Their Bao Bun with pulled pork is a staple, but my favorite is this avocado toast with vadouvan, sesame and hummus.
