Stockholm, the Swedish capital, is a great city for a city trip. Not only for design lovers, but also for food lovers! Stockholm consists of 14 islands, which really gives the city a nice atmosphere.
One of my favorite spots in Stockholm is on the Sodermalm, the South Island. It’s called Hermans Tradgardscafe and it has a fantastic vegetarian buffet. Great lasagna’s and Moroccan style salads. And you can enjoy this all on their summer terrace with a view over the water and the city. I couldn’t believe how much great food we ate for a really small price.
If you want to go for a drink on this island, I recommend Nada.
This bar has a living room feel to it, with orange walls and mini chandeliers.
Also on this island, but a bit less healthy, is Creperie Fyra Knop.
They have the most delicious crepes here. I had one with chocolate ice cream, chocolate sauce and kirsh.
Speaking of unhealthy, when you’re in Stockholm you should really eat Kladdkaka.
This chocolate cake is a Swedish specialty.
It’s similar to a brownie and has a goeey center. As you can see, it made me very happy!
