Recipe green smoothie bowl

Did you already know it’s better to eat your smoothies than to drink them? You can read why on this page. So next time you want to make a smoothie; make a smoothie bowl! And instead of using just fruit, make sure to add some vegetables as well. This way your smoothie is a healthy start of the day.
I’ve made this green smoothie bowl using a ready-to-blend smoothie mixture from Juice Junkies. They sell single serve packages that you can store in the freezer. Each package is enough for one smoothie (bowl). It’s perfect to make a smoothie with several different ingredients, without needing to buy a lot of food that you’re not going to use. You can order your bags online and they’ll deliver it to your home (also in the evenings or on Saturdays).

This smoothie bowl consists of banana, broccoli, spinach, celery, pineapple. I topped it with coconut flakes, almond flakes and freeze dried strawberries from NADA nothing added. As the name suggests, nothing is added to the strawberries. These freeze dried strawberries you’ll keep all the nutrients. I’ve also used these strawberries from NADA on my Valentine’s Day chocolates and they’re also a great healthy snack to take with you to work!
