The Kruisherenhotel in Maastricht is a luxurious 5 star hotel in the city center. The hotel is a heaven for interior design and art lovers as it’s located in a former monastery. If you’re looking for a special hotel in Maastricht or if you want to surprise your loved one with a luxurious stay; I suggest you book a room in the Kruisherenhotel!
The entrance of the Kruisheren Hotel is already quite impressive. You enter via a copper gateway into a former church. It’s a 15th century monumental Gothic church. Once you’re inside you’ll be welcomed by the friendly staff with a glass of bubbles. The lobby is beautifully located in the former church. You can enjoy a drink in the Wine Bar Rouge & Blanc or go directly to your room.
The rooms at Kruisheren Hotel in Maastricht are very unique as they’re all located in the former monastery. There are 60 modern rooms and they’re all different. The interior is a great mixture of the old building and new design with a touch of art from famous international designers like Philip Starck en Le Corbusier in every room. There’s free wifi and coffee and tea in every room. All rooms have a luxury bathroom with a bad.
A stay at the Kruisheren hotel is a real unique experience that is perfect for a romantic getaway or a special night out.
The restaurant of the Kruisheren Hotel Maastricht is very impressive. It’s located on an elevated platform in the former church. If you’re staying in the hotel you can enjoy your breakfast here, but if you’re not a hotel guest you can still enjoy lunch or dinner at the Kruisheren Restaurant. You can go for a 3, 4, 5 or 6 course dinner created by the chef who loves to work with local and organic ingredients.
Wine bar White & Rouge is also open to the public. It’s located in the quire section of the church and beautiful designed. If the weather is nice, the patio is also open for guests
Kruisheren Hotel Maastricht is part of the Oostwegel Collection, a group of unique hotels and restaurants in the South of Limburg. They’re all located in beautiful buildings that are transformed to luxury and characteristic hotels.
This is good news for you as a guest, because you can book the ‘Design & Dine’ arrangement which includes a 5 course dinner at Chateau Neercanne, a luxury transfer to and from the hotel, a night at Kruisheren Hotel and an extensive breakfast buffet at the hotel the morning after.
