Barceloneta is the neighborhood in Barcelona that’s right next to the beach. There are some great beach side restaurants in La Barceloneta. On this page I’m sharing the best restaurants and food spots in La Barceloneta, Barcelona.

Barna Beach Bar

Barna Beach Bar in Barceloneta has a lovely terrace in the sun, right next to the beach. On the menu you can find all kinds of refreshing drinks like cocktails and Sangria (both the red as the white version). I love to order some loaded nachos at Barna Beach Bar in the afternoon after a day on the beach!

La Deliciosa

Speaking of nacho’s; La Deliciosa also serves tasty nacho’s. They’re right next to Barna Beach Bar and even closer to the beach. Besides tapas, they also serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. A great spot for some drinks in the sun, because they also sell refreshing cocktails.

Açaí & me

I can’t think of a better lunch on sunny days than a smoothie bowl or an açaí bowl. So I love açaí & Me where you can order your açaí bowl and eat it on the beach. They’ve got several variaties, just order the one you want at the counter (you can find them on the Beach Garden premises). You can even wait on the beach while they prepare your order as they’ll give you a buzzer for when it’s ready. They also have two bowls without açaí if you like smoothie bowls, but not necessarily açaí berries.

KUK

One of the best things to do in Barceloneta is to eat right on the beach. I love to get pizza slices or empanadas at KUK. They’re located close to the bus stop and the beach, so you can pick it up on your way to the beach. The pizza has a crispy crust and plenty of sauce and cheese. They also have vegetarian empanadas.

Boulangerie Mayer

Boulangerie Mayer is a French bakery with several shops in Barcelona. They’ve also got a bakery in Barceloneta. They’ve got all the French classics like Madeleines, baguettes and croissants. And they’ve also got delicious pastries. Everything is made by hand, free of colorings and palm oil, and you can taste the high quality. You can also order your pastries in advance.

Forn de Pa Balboa

Another great bakery in Barceloneta is Forn Balboa. This cute little shop sells all kinds of breads and pastries. From croissants to cakes. They’re an artisan and traditional bakery selling French and Spanish pastries. Their offer varies per season. Great place to pick up some sweets to-go.

Surf House Barcelona

Right at the beach, you can find Surf House Barcelona. At SHB you can book all kinds of activities; you can for example rent a Sup Board. But they also have a good kitchen that’s open all day. From lunch, to bar food to dinner. Great avocado toast, nachos or (veggie) burgers!
