Wondr is a paradise for Instagrammers in Amsterdam. Wondr is a pop-up experience in Amsterdam that provides the perfect background for your Instagram pictures. At Wondr there are several rooms that are all very Instagrammable. From a pink room with a swimming pool full of marshmallows to a ball bath full of blue balls.

Wondr is a temporary pop-up museum that has just opened up in September 2019. You can find it in Amsterdam Noord (North). Just take the metro from Amsterdam Centraal to Noorderpark (2 minutes) and walk from there to Wondr in 5 minutes. Wonr is open zeven days a week from 11am to 7pm.

There are 15 rooms at Wondr, the one even more Instagrammable than the other. There’s this dreamy room for example with clouds in the sky and walls made from pillows. But there’s also a room where confetti comes out of the shower, where you feel like you’re in a painting or where you walk through a rainbow of ribbons

Wondr is the brainchild of Brazilian Sarah Mendes who’s been living in Amsterdam for years. The premises is a former gold factory that closed in 2017. The 1500 square meters now houses the perfect backgrounds for your selfies on Instagram.
Mendes says that Wondr isn’t a museum. Where in museums you’re not allowed to touch anything, at Wondr you’re encouraged to do touch everything!

Throughout the buildings there are photo boots that can email the pictures to you. So you don’t even have to take a selfie for great Instagram pictures at Wondr.

Wondr will open up after the lockdown on June 5 2021.
